- Steading 5 is usually let from Saturday to Saturday - but please contact us for alternative arrangements / prices for other start dates
- Steading 5 has a dedicated private off road parking space plus additional parking in a shared car park onsite.
- Steading 5 is available from 4pm; guests are asked to leave by 9.30am. This is to allow us time to thoroughly clean and sanitise Steading 5 in line with current cleaning protocols for the next guests
- Steading 5 operates a strict no smoking policy for the comfort of all our guests.
- Steading 5 operates a policy of no pets as we are situated adjacent to a field often occupied by sheep or cattle.

- How far is Newtonmore from the centre of Newtonmore?
- Steading 5 is located on the southern outskirts of Newtonmore and within easy reach of shops, cafes and restaurants. There are cafes and restaurants within 5-15 minute walking distance. A post office and community shops are located in the Main Street within 15 minutes’ walk and there is a small general grocery shop 5 minutes’ walk away in the petrol station and a larger supermarket 1 mile away.
- What is there to do near Steading 5 Newtonmore?
- There are many popular landmarks and visitor attractions in Newtonmore and within a 15 radius. Within the village of Newtonmore there are 2 award winning museums; the Clan MacPherson and the Highland Folk Museum, both within walking distance. The Highland Wildlife Park and the Loch Insh Watersports centre are within 8 miles of Steading 5. Many of our guests love to be able to search for the painted Wildcats hidden in and around the village.

- Steading 5 is located 14 miles south of Aviemore. Easy access to Aviemore by car using the main A9 trunk road, using the local train service from Newtonmore or a bus available from Newtonmore.

- Yes there is a dedicated parking space for Steading 5 and additional parking elsewhere in the shared car park

- Newtonmore is very popular with families who come to enjoy the local area and family visitor attractions such as Landmark Forestry Theme Park, Highland Wildlife Park to visit the polar bears, various Watersports and adventure activities in and around Aviemore.

- The Wildcat Trail which circles Newtonmore is a lovely walk for all ages and abilities. Steading 5 has a access to walks via a stile over the garden fence which allow you to access the trails to Creag Dhubh and other Monadhliath mountains direct from the cottage.
